Microfiber is a new technique that is used in cleaning and can be of different types such as rags, towels, cloths and mops. Mops are usually used at homes, hospitals, schools and other commercial establishments. They are used to clean floors as this promotes not only cleanliness but also a healthy and safe environment. Microfiber is cost effective and environment friendly and is used by a lot of people.

Microfiber only needs water for cleaning. With the use of water alone, 99% of the bacteria are already removed. Dirt can also be cleaned using water; the microfiber mops traps the dirt from the floor and absorbs up to 700% of liquid.

Some of the advantages of microfiber mops as cleaning tools are as follows:

First, microfiber mops are more durable than the usual cotton mops, thus they can be used longer. The microfiber mops are made of polyester and polyamide fibers which are strong types of fibers. The microfiber mops can be washed repeatedly up to 500 times and are still very effective when used to clean. Because of this characteristic of microfiber mops, replacing mop heads is reduced and expenses are lowered.

Second, microfiber mops need few to no chemicals at all. A microfiber mop head which is damp can already clean dirt without the need for chemicals. One pad of microfiber with water can be used to dust and clean up to 3000 square feet. The use of few to no chemicals reduces expenses as well since most chemicals can be really expensive. It also lessens the time spent on cleaning since preparing the chemicals to be used requires more time. A certain study also showed that using typical string mops requires 21 gallons of water with floor cleaning solution while in using microfiber mops, only 2 gallons of water are consumed in one session.

Lastly, aside from reducing expenses, microfiber mops are designed to finish cleaning quickly and easily. It is easy to use and handle since it is light in weight. In typical mops, bending every now and then to remove the water absorbed by the mop head should be done. This is not necessarily done for microfiber mops since the microfiber mop head should only be replaced when it is already dirty.

It is evident that microfiber mops are better than string, sponge and other disposable mops. String and sponge mops cannot be used to dust areas while microfiber mops can be used to both dust and clean with water. Sponge mops cannot be washed and so they often leave dirt when used for cleaning after the first use. Microfiber mops do not leave dirt when cleaning and they can be washed. Disposable mops, on one hand, are disposed after use. Microfiber mops can be used for a long period of time and should only be replaced when it is very dirty. One pad of disposable mop can only clean 300 square feet whereas one pad of microfiber mop can clean 3000 square feet. Two types of mop heads should be used when using disposable mops; one for wet cleaning with chemicals and another for dusting. Microfiber mops can be used for both wet cleaning and dusting without the need for mop head replacement.

Microfiber mops is not only an effective cleaning tool at home but also in large commercial establishments, buildings and the like. It is recommended to be used at health care facilities such as hospitals since it prevents cross contamination because different mop waters could be used.

Microfiber Cloths as a Cleaning Tool in the Kitchen

Microfiber cloths can be used as a cleaning tool in the kitchen. Most people use paper towels to clean spills due to cooking or wipe hands and faces. Microfiber cloths can also be used for the said purpose and can even save time since there is no need to get one at a time piece every time there is something to be cleaned.

There are also a lot of advantages in using microfiber cloth over other fabrics such as cotton dish rags. First, microfiber cloth is more absorbent, thus it can be used to dry plates without the fear of damaging the glasses, plates or other flatware. Since it is also more absorbent, it does not easily need replacement during the drying process unlike cotton dish rags which should be replaced every now and then since they become so wet with the water absorbed from the plates.

Microfiber mops can also clean spills on the floors which can reduce accidents in the kitchen. As discussed in the previous section, microfiber mops can easily clean floors in less time and are better than any other types of mops.

Microfiber towels can also be used on tiles or linoleum to remove water or spills while eating or cooking. Aside from being water absorbent, microfiber can also absorb oil. The oil is trapped inside the fiber and is only removed once the cloth is washed. Because of this, oil can be easily cleaned on kitchen surfaces.

The microfiber cloth contains tiny spaces that can trap dirt and consequently makes the surface clean, thus it is an effective cleaning tool in the kitchen. Aside from kitchen surfaces, it is also a great tool to use in cleaning kitchen appliances.

Like microfiber mops, microfiber cloth can also last for a long time without the need for replacement not like paper towels which should be restocked every now and then. Microfiber cloths can be cleaned by simply washing it with water. Oil and grime is easily removed with water unlike with dishrags which can be slimy and disgusting after use.

Aside from spills, microfiber can also remove dust, bacteria and allergens making the kitchen free from contamination. Based on a British Columbian University study, microfiber cloth with tap water is 99.94% effective in removing bacteria unlike other cloths and mops with chemicals which are only 91.86% effective.

Using microfiber cloths and mops in the kitchen should be promoted since it saves money, effort and most importantly, time.

Some people can become obsessed with cars and auto detailing. There are different types of obsession, and the milder level can be referred to as the minor obsession. Here the car owner tries to keep his car clean as much as he can. The next type is called the minute obsession; people with their first cars usually fall under this category. Here the owner is only eager to clean and beautify his car because its new, but once it gets worn out, the owner will begin taking the car for granted.

Then there’s what you call the super obsessed. The people under this kind of obsession treats his car like a part of himself, he practically can’t live without it and would go nuts if he sees so much as a small scratch on his car. Lastly, there’s what we refer to as the ultimately obsessed. Ultimately obsessed car owners usually include car collectors, and these people are not concerned about the effort, time, or money they spend on their car.

There are very few people who are car obsessed and for the majority of the population, a car is just a car. Its just a tool we use to take us where we want and need to be at any given time or weather condition. Accordingly, like anything that is used a lot, our cars can get really dirty. Although its easy to have your car cleaned in a car wash, it can be costly if done often. So why not clean your car with a product that is long lasting, dependable, and easy to use? With our auto detailing and maintenance microfiber products, cleaning your car will be a breeze!

Before you start cleaning your car, make sure that you have everything you need. Prepare buckets of soap and water, a soft sponge, turtle wax, dry rags, polishing rags, and rags for glass. Instead of using an ordinary rag or cloth, use a microfiber cloth. The other things you might need include the following: dashboard spray, leather spray, hand-held vacuum, and mirror cleaner.

Start by removing the seat covers, car mat, and other removable upholstery in your car. Sweep or vacuum the sand, soil, and other dirt in your car. Look under the car seats, inside the dashboard compartment, cup holder, door pockets, etc., and make sure there are no unnecessary items or junk. If you happen to find trash in your car, immediately take them out and dispose of them properly. If you want to be more thorough, you can wipe the dashboard, car wheel, and other surfaces in your car with a cloth sprayed lightly with the cleaning solution of your choice. Once you’ve cleaned the interior of your car to your satisfaction, you can now start cleaning the exterior of your car.

Before applying soap on your car’s exterior, wet it first with water. Bear in mind that this may take some time, depending on how big your car is. Once your car is all wet, you can now apply soap to it. Lather your car’s windshield, doors, bumper, etc. With soap and rinse everything once you’re done. Dry your car with the microfiber cloth; make sure that you wipe everything thoroughly to avoid water marks. After you’re done, dried your car, its now time to give it a polish. Take out your turtle wax or car polisher and put some on separate microfiber cloth. Buff your car until you can clearly see your reflection on it. Lastly, keep all your cleaning materials, and pat yourself at the back for a job well done.

You might be asking yourself why we recommend using microfiber cloth instead of your usual cleaning cloth or rag. What exactly is the difference between the microfiber cloth and ordinary rags, cloths, or towel? Well first of all, normal cloths tend to leave strands of lint or thread. The structure of microfiber is so compact that it does not easily wear out. Microfiber can be compared to silk in the sense that it is finely made but is very sturdy and long-lasting. It can be used to clean car and even other surfaces for a very very long time.

You can use microfiber even without water, or any cleaning solution. The microfiber cloth by itself is already an effective cleaning tool and it will still give you good results even without the aid of any solvent or surfactant (soap, cleaning liquid, etc.). As such, it is advisable to keep one or two pieces of microfiber cloth in your car for quick clean ups or polishing. For example, if you pass by a dirt road and do not have time to clean your entire car, simply wipe the dirty area with a dry microfiber. You’ll be surprised at how the microfiber cloth will efficiently get rid of all the soil and dirt on your car.

Aside from getting rid of dirt, microfiber is also great at cleaning glass. Our special microfiber glass towel will keep your windshield and car windows spotless. There is no need for you to spray the cloth with a glass cleaner or a squeegee after. All you have to do is wipe your window or windshield with a microfiber glass towel and all the water marks, dirt spots, grime, etc, will disappear. Aside from your car windows and windshield, you can also use the microfiber glass cleaner on your headlights, tail lights, and car mirror.

Meanwhile, for the car interior we recommend our special microfiber towels and suede cloths. These cleaning cloths are suitable for even the finest leather and other similar upholstery. They can also clean other parts of your car like the windshield wipers, car wheel, etc. The wedge-shaped fibres that make up the microfiber produce a positive charge that sucks dirt and other particles on the surface you use is on. As a result, microfiber effectively cleans surfaces even without water or any cleaning solution.

Truly, the microfiber makes car cleaning an easy task. It doesn’t just allow you to have a clean car, it also cuts almost half the time you usually spend on cleaning your car. Also, it absorbs liquid so well that it will not sag or drip even when you soak it in water.

No matter what kind of car you have, whether its a sedan, hatchback, van, pick-up, or truck, the microfiber cloth will make car cleaning fast, easy, and hassle-free. Microfiber will definitely keep your car in tip top shape.
