You may have heard of the newest magic cleaning tool that people have been trying out. Microfiber has truly made its mark among mothers and cleaners in this generation. In the past years, more and more people have been trying out microfiber products and have been satisfied with the results that they are getting. It truly does an effective job of cleaning your own homes. If you have recently decided to try out microfiber but are not sure about how to use it, this may be useful for you when you start you cleaning job.

Cleaning With Microfiber Cloths
When buying your microfiber cloth, pick one which have a high fiber split, this is found to be a more effective cleaning tool. The more splits that your microfiber cloths have, the more dust and dirt it can pick up from the surface. This will hold more dirt which prevents it from being wiped back on the surface. You don’t have to worry because the dirt is only released when the microfiber cloth is washed with hot water.

There are a lot of things which you can clean with your microfiber cloths. This is the most versatile cleaning cloth that you will ever have. All you have to do is to get your microfiber, wet it with hot or warm water, wring out the excess water and you will be ready to clean your house. Wipe your furniture and bathroom fixtures with the microfiber mop and you will not only notice how it effectively picks up the dust, but it also gives it shine. You can clean your windows, walls and window frames using microfiber cloths without worrying about streaks that it might leave. Just wipe your windows and your windows will be cleaned in an instant.

Your kitchen will be cleaned in no time with microfiber cleaning cloths. Imagine how dirty your kitchen counters can be everyday from all the cooking and food preparation. Now, cleaning it can be done easily with microfiber. Just use it dry, wet or with vinegar and you will be able to clean your kitchen counters with just a swipe of the cleaning cloth. You appliances too are safe with microfibers. You microwave interior can be cleaned with just a wipe using your damp microfiber cloth.

Cleaning With Microfiber Mops
If you think that microfiber cloths are great cleaning tools, this does not stop here. Microfiber mops have been actually made to make life a whole lot easier. This is a way better cleaning tool than your regular string mops. With microfiber mops, mopping your floors have never been this easy. All the things which you used to hate about mopping are solved by microfiber mops.

Start your mopping by dipping the mop into water. There is no need for you to add any cleaning solutions if you want to have an efficient cleaning job. A wet mop will already do for your floor mopping. Wring out the mop pad before you use it. Microfiber mops hold water about six times its weight, so wringing them out does not really lessen their cleaning capabilities. You can now proceed to wiping your floors. See how long your mop will last without redipping it into the bucket of water. It can clean a large area with just one dip of the mop pad. Plus, you do not have to re dip it into the bucket. Once you are done with one mop pad, just detach the mop pad from the handle and attach a new one. It is that simple. You even lessen the chances of contaminating your water. See how microfiber mops make life a lot easier?

Cleaning Your Microfiber
The greatest thing about microfiber is that it is washable. This makes microfiber a reusable cleaning material which you can use as often as you want. This will give you the worth of your money since you do not have to replace your microfiber regularly. There are people who have been using the same microfiber cloths for about 2-3 years now, and still fin their cleaning cloths as effective as if they were still new. All you have to do is know how you will be able to preserve your microfiber products so that these will last. By knowing how to clean them properly, you will be able to make the life of your microfiber last longer.

All you need is a mild detergent to clean your microfiber. DO not use bleach or even fabric softeners on them. Since your microfiber clean due to the static charges that it carries, you need to preserve this static charge so that they next time that you use them, it can still effectively pick up the dirt and the dust which are negatively charged. Only mild detergents are used because they so not ruin the cleaning capability of your microfiber. So wash your microfiber cloth as you would regularly wash your cleaning cloths. Do not wash them with other fabrics since this can cause your microfiber to absorb lint as well as chemicals from them.

This is very important that you should dry your microfiber cloths without the use of heat at all. If you dry your microfiber under high temperatures, there is a big chance that the fibers of your cloth will melt all together. This will affect the way that you cloth does its cleaning. This is why it is recommended to just hang them dry and let the liquid drip from the cloth.

It is very important that you do not only have a microfiber cleaning cloth or mop in your household. This makes no sense if you do not know how to use them and most especially how to preserve them. This is why you need to know how to clean with microfiber so that you will be ensured of a cleaner home after. Look at the big difference that microfiber cleaning does. After you have cleaned with your microfiber, it is time that you clean the microfiber. This is a crucial step since one wrong move and you will destroy your microfiber cloths. Make sure that you follow precautions when you wash your microfiber. If you follow these steps, you will never ever see cleaning your homes as enjoyable as this.

Microfiber is a new technique that is used in cleaning and can be of different types such as rags, towels, cloths and mops. Mops are usually used at homes, hospitals, schools and other commercial establishments. They are used to clean floors as this promotes not only cleanliness but also a healthy and safe environment. Microfiber is cost effective and environment friendly and is used by a lot of people.

Microfiber only needs water for cleaning. With the use of water alone, 99% of the bacteria are already removed. Dirt can also be cleaned using water; the microfiber mops traps the dirt from the floor and absorbs up to 700% of liquid.

Some of the advantages of microfiber mops as cleaning tools are as follows:

First, microfiber mops are more durable than the usual cotton mops, thus they can be used longer. The microfiber mops are made of polyester and polyamide fibers which are strong types of fibers. The microfiber mops can be washed repeatedly up to 500 times and are still very effective when used to clean. Because of this characteristic of microfiber mops, replacing mop heads is reduced and expenses are lowered.

Second, microfiber mops need few to no chemicals at all. A microfiber mop head which is damp can already clean dirt without the need for chemicals. One pad of microfiber with water can be used to dust and clean up to 3000 square feet. The use of few to no chemicals reduces expenses as well since most chemicals can be really expensive. It also lessens the time spent on cleaning since preparing the chemicals to be used requires more time. A certain study also showed that using typical string mops requires 21 gallons of water with floor cleaning solution while in using microfiber mops, only 2 gallons of water are consumed in one session.

Lastly, aside from reducing expenses, microfiber mops are designed to finish cleaning quickly and easily. It is easy to use and handle since it is light in weight. In typical mops, bending every now and then to remove the water absorbed by the mop head should be done. This is not necessarily done for microfiber mops since the microfiber mop head should only be replaced when it is already dirty.

It is evident that microfiber mops are better than string, sponge and other disposable mops. String and sponge mops cannot be used to dust areas while microfiber mops can be used to both dust and clean with water. Sponge mops cannot be washed and so they often leave dirt when used for cleaning after the first use. Microfiber mops do not leave dirt when cleaning and they can be washed. Disposable mops, on one hand, are disposed after use. Microfiber mops can be used for a long period of time and should only be replaced when it is very dirty. One pad of disposable mop can only clean 300 square feet whereas one pad of microfiber mop can clean 3000 square feet. Two types of mop heads should be used when using disposable mops; one for wet cleaning with chemicals and another for dusting. Microfiber mops can be used for both wet cleaning and dusting without the need for mop head replacement.

Microfiber mops is not only an effective cleaning tool at home but also in large commercial establishments, buildings and the like. It is recommended to be used at health care facilities such as hospitals since it prevents cross contamination because different mop waters could be used.

Microfiber Cloths as a Cleaning Tool in the Kitchen

Microfiber cloths can be used as a cleaning tool in the kitchen. Most people use paper towels to clean spills due to cooking or wipe hands and faces. Microfiber cloths can also be used for the said purpose and can even save time since there is no need to get one at a time piece every time there is something to be cleaned.

There are also a lot of advantages in using microfiber cloth over other fabrics such as cotton dish rags. First, microfiber cloth is more absorbent, thus it can be used to dry plates without the fear of damaging the glasses, plates or other flatware. Since it is also more absorbent, it does not easily need replacement during the drying process unlike cotton dish rags which should be replaced every now and then since they become so wet with the water absorbed from the plates.

Microfiber mops can also clean spills on the floors which can reduce accidents in the kitchen. As discussed in the previous section, microfiber mops can easily clean floors in less time and are better than any other types of mops.

Microfiber towels can also be used on tiles or linoleum to remove water or spills while eating or cooking. Aside from being water absorbent, microfiber can also absorb oil. The oil is trapped inside the fiber and is only removed once the cloth is washed. Because of this, oil can be easily cleaned on kitchen surfaces.

The microfiber cloth contains tiny spaces that can trap dirt and consequently makes the surface clean, thus it is an effective cleaning tool in the kitchen. Aside from kitchen surfaces, it is also a great tool to use in cleaning kitchen appliances.

Like microfiber mops, microfiber cloth can also last for a long time without the need for replacement not like paper towels which should be restocked every now and then. Microfiber cloths can be cleaned by simply washing it with water. Oil and grime is easily removed with water unlike with dishrags which can be slimy and disgusting after use.

Aside from spills, microfiber can also remove dust, bacteria and allergens making the kitchen free from contamination. Based on a British Columbian University study, microfiber cloth with tap water is 99.94% effective in removing bacteria unlike other cloths and mops with chemicals which are only 91.86% effective.

Using microfiber cloths and mops in the kitchen should be promoted since it saves money, effort and most importantly, time.

Microfiber is your best option when it comes to cleaning your home. Microfibers have been slowly replacing a lot of cleaning equipment because of the countless benefits that people enjoy. For one, this makes cleaning as easier job for most people. It has reduced cleaning time in half. Plus, it cleans surfaces more effectively than the regular cleaning tools. If you want to know more about microfiber, you may want to read this article.

One of these chores that microfiber has made easier for you is dusting your furniture. There are so many types of furniture and with this, there are so many types of cleaning methods that must be observed when cleaning them. This makes dusting such a tedious job for most. The usual way of cleaning furniture involves the use of paper towels and rags that may damage the furniture. It can scratch or even cause the paint to chip off. Plus it does not really clean the furniture, but what it really does it just move the dust around and pile them up in one place. This only damages your furniture that is why this is not recommended for dusting furniture at all.

Microfiber is the recommended tool for dusting your furniture. This is made up of a mixture of polyamide and polyester which is flexible and soft enough to dust your furniture without actually damaging it. Each fiber has been made thin. It measures up to 1/16 of the fibers of synthetically made clothes for cleaning. Dusting with microfiber will not scratch your furniture so your furniture looks brand new after dusting. It also preserves the paint or varnish used to make the furniture look shinier. You will not need furniture polish with a microfiber cloth, it does a better job of shining your furniture.

What makes microfiber such an effective tool is that each fiber is made up to porous materials. This makes cleaning with microfiber more efficient. The pores in each fiber trap the dust, removing all the dirt on the surface. This prevents the dirt collected from going back to the furniture surface so it ensures that the surface is free from any dirt. It can clean any type of dirt ranging from dust, germs, bacteria, grime, grease and oil. These tiny pores do a great job in absorbing all the dirt in on the furniture surfaces. You can even use a single microfiber cloth is one cleaning job. It holds up to six times it weight worth of dust, dirt and liquid. It can clean 300 square feet for the price of the shirt. Imagine how many furniture pieces it can clean. This is so amazing!

Microfiber does not only pick up dust and dirt, but it also cleans germs and bacteria found on any surface. This prevents the cross- contamination of people. Especially when it comes to children, they usually put their hands in their mouths for no reason at all. This is the reason why you should always make sure that whatever the child can touch is clean. Make sure that clean with a damp microfiber cloth to remove 99% of the microorganisms there. This also goes for allergies. People have different allergies. Allergens are also picked up by microfibers that is why cleaning with microfiber is safe. This is usually recommended to be used in hospitals and infection control facilities.

You can even help the environment when you clean with microfiber. Using microfiber reduces the amount of liquid that you will use for dusting. You can effectively dust any surface with a dry microfiber. But if you are doubtful about this, you can slightly wet the cloth to make it damp. Look at how it can remove the dust from your furniture. You do not even need to use harsh cleaning liquids with microfiber. This saves the environment from volatile organic contaminants and from dumping the solutions in the natural waters that might endanger fishes and other living organisms there.

Washing your microfiber cloths are easy to do. Just wash them in running water and mild soap and your microfiber cloths are already clean. You just have to dry them and they will be ready for use. You do not even need a fancy washing machines or even pay for laundry surfaces when you wash your microfiber cloths. The last thing that you need after a tiring cleaning job is another cleaning job that involves washing the cleaning materials that you use.

The durability of microfiber cloths has also been proven. These microfiber cloths can even be washed hundreds of times before it actually gets destroyed. Each microfiber has been made to be soft but strong enough to withstand any number of washings applied to it. Most microfiber cloths last up to three years. Imagine all the money that you have saved just for buying microfiber cloths! You even get your money’s worth because even up to three years, you microfiber works as if it was new.

You have now discovered a whole new world of dusting. The next time that you are asked to dust your furniture, you do not need to hire professional cleaners just to do the job for you. You will now enjoy cleaning your furniture in just a short period of time. Dusting with microfiber has become the easiest thing to do. All you need is to get your microfiber cloth, wipe the surface and see how the dirt is magically removed from the surface. In just a matter of minutes, your furniture will look as if it were brand new. This is so amazing! It cuts your cleaning time in half but promise to give efficient cleaning results. Who would’ve thought that all the things what you want can be found in a single microfiber cloth? In just one pocket, it can be the most versatile cleaning cloth that you will ever use. What are you waiting for? It is time to switch to microfiber and you will see how it can make dusting furniture such as easy task to do.

Microfiber towels have been in existence for roughly 10 years today. I first learned about them being sold via distributors in one MLM business. Given that I have a professional home cleaning business, I cannot see the benefits of using them because of their high cost.

However it made me wonder more, could they actually benefits professional cleaners? So I did research and whatever I discovered should definitely be shared.

What is a Microfiber? Microfiber is a synthetic and ultrafine fiber. It is very durable and free of lint. During the manufacturing process, every fiber is ripped therefore giving its specific benefits. The fibers’ density makes it very absorbent, they are capable of holding 6 times their mass in water. Microfibers contain positive charges while dust and dirt have negative charges. Thus, it leads microfibers to attract dirt and dust while holding them tightly so they are not redistributed whilst cleaning.

Do They Really Work? Definitely! Aside from the available microfiber towels, microfiber mops can be purchased to substitute both wet and dry mops.

I bought a mop with 3 detachable head pads. The pads are fastened through Velcro. The mop possesses a swivel base which lets it get around and under the furniture. Having a floor made of vinyl and wood, I found out that microfiber mops are easy to make use of and works very well.

Dry mopping enables one to lift dust and even small debris from floors. The dirt was held strongly by the fibers and was not redistributed to the floor. Through the swivel head pad, it was easy to get along baseboards and into corners.

I used to prefer string mops made of cotton for floor cleaning, but I discovered that microfibers are more beneficial. No need to bend over buckets, no need to wring out mop heads and no fiber being caught around cabinet wood edges or table legs. Nonetheless, I could use a figure eight motion I used to do with a cotton string mop. As a matter of fact, I realized that I stand straighter when mopping since the mops are maneuverable and lightweight. Therefore, it is more beneficial since it prevents back pain and other injuries such as those in fingers, wrists, elbows and shoulders.

The microfibers hold a large amount of water with no dripping hence leaving behind the floor much cleaner. Since the floor dries faster, the chances of sliding and slipping are reduced. Furthermore, use a dry mop when cleaning a wooden floor and you can see that the water evaporates while you mop.

Microfiber mops are very resilient. They have approximately 10 times the average life span of cotton string mops utilized in professional home cleaning.

Despite all its benefits, are there matters to be concerned about? In fact, there are some: initial investment, quality versus cost, not suitable for mopping flood and spills, cannot spread or remove wax, should not be washed using items that produce lint, should not be brought to industrial washers for cleaning and other brands do not recommend the use of a dryer.

Initial investment may be doubled or even tripled compared to the cost of string and cotton loop mops. That may be the case if you have many employees or managing teams. In addition, you cannot use commercial laundry services or launder them together with terry towels.

To find out if one should convert their home cleaning services to microfiber, an analysis of cost benefits are need to see cost tradeoffs. If the calculated costs are high, determine if it is because of mopping of scrubbing. Microfiber mops might probably reduce mopping injury related costs.

You may as well want to think about using microfiber to partially or totally replace terry towels. You can also use microfiber just for cleaning mirrors and glass. Also, they may possibly reduce product costs since they do not need chemicals for cleaning.

Microfiber towels are available at a local depot, on automotive stores and the Internet. However, you should know that microfiber towels are different from one another. Some companies make one kind only while others have a certain microfiber towel for various tasks.

More research about the cost and quality is definitely recommended prior to spending on microfiber for a home cleaning business.

Using Microfiber Mops when Mopping floors

The existence of Microfiber has been an innovative breakthrough in maintaining and cleaning tile or hardwood floors. Microfiber mops have been proven effective as compared to many non-commercial or commercial mops since they are not just pushing dirt throughout the floor surface. Instead microfiber mops pick up and trap dust and dirt through having magnetized pull.

Microfiber mops are excellent for both small and big cleaning jobs. The mops are durably designed and very effective even without using chemicals. Most people choose Microfiber mops so as not to expose their pets or their children to cleaning chemicals. The mops are also perfect for those who have family member with allergy problems.

Microfiber mops make cleaning floors a fast and neat process. To start mopping the floor, run the mop’s head in hot water then attach the Velcro head to the structure of the mop. No need to use a pail of water, since it is not required to frequently dip the mop’s head in cleaning chemicals or even water. Since a pail containing dirty water is not of use, microfiber mops clean without spreading dirty water throughout tile or hardwood floors. Stains of dirty water or even small debris will not be left behind on the surface of the floor. Microfiber mops provide a fast and easy substitute to mopping tile or hardwood surfaces. Being gentle and simple to use, even a child can use them.

Other benefits in using Microfiber mops include removing the germs that can be found on your floors. Since you won’t need to use that much water with Microfiber mops, surely, you won’t get to see molds growing on your floors or on your walls. They are also very durable and with proper treatment, you can use them for many more years without replacement. Furthermore, they are inexpensive and with microfiber mops, there is no more need for other cleaning chemicals or for mop buckets. They add more years to your floors’ life since their cloths are so soft they won’t nick or scratch the top coat. Since Microfiber mops don’t use harsh chemicals, your floors are then very safe. The useful at the same time small designs of the mops make them clean even the hard- to- reach corners of your house.

Window cleaning products are not really necessary to keep your windows clean. All you really need is a microfiber cloth dampened with water. A microfiber cloth is more effective in cleaning your window as compared to window cleaners or a wet newspaper.

For optimum results do not dampen the entire microfiber cloth with water and leave half of the cloth dry. Wipe the window (including the borders) using the wet side first, and wipe it with the dry part of the cloth after. The wet cloth will loosen any accumulated dirt on the window surface, while the dry part will give it a polished look.

If your windows have stubborn dirt on them, you may remove them with an organic kitchen cleaner or detergent.
If there are areas in your window that cannot be reached by your hands, or if you cannot reach your windows at all, we recommend using the microfiber mop. This mop will allow you to clean hard to reach areas of your window and leave them spotless. Just remember to use special pads called “window pad” which is specifically designed for this kind of job.

BATHROOM:

Do you know that you can keep your bathroom clean without using detergents and other types of cleaning chemicals? To clean your toilet’s exterior, simply use a wet microfiber cloth with a small amount of organic/non-toxic soap. To clean the inner part of the toilet bowl, use the following solution: ¼ cup of baking soda with 1 cup vinegar. Pour the mixture into the toilet bowl and let it stand for a couple of minutes. Scour the area with a brush and wash with water afterwards. You may also use a mixture made with 2 parts borax and one part lemon juice. Meanwhile, you can remove lime scale deposits using pumice stone or by pouring vinegar on it.

Like the outer part of a toilet bowl, sinks and tubs can easily be cleaned using a wet microfiber cloth with some organic/non-toxic soap. For better results leave the wet microfiber cloth on the area being cleaned for a couple of minutes. To take off rust or grime below the tap, simply rub it with a microfiber cloth dampened with vinegar or citric acid. Tile grooves and other crevices can also be cleaned with the microfiber cloth.

It is always best to clean your shower cabinet, faucets, and tiles with the microfiber cloth immediately after taking a shower. This way, the dirt is still loose and can be cleaned more easily. You may also use the microfiber cloth to clean your bathroom mirror and wall tiles. Again, use the microfiber mop together with its special pad called “Wall pad”, to clean areas which are difficult to reach.

KITCHEN:

Do you know that the kitchen harbours more bacteria than any other place in the house? As such, it is very important to always keep it clean. Use a wet microfiber cloth to remove grease and water spots from stainless steel fixtures like faucets, stoves and refrigerators. If the surface is extremely dirty, put some organic/non-toxic detergent on the cloth.

Also, food stains on your stove can be removed more easily if you wipe them off while the stove is warm. To avoid any accidents though, we suggest cleaning the stove a few minutes after you’ve turned it off.

To keep kitchen cabinets and shelves clean, regularly wipe them with a wet microfiber cloth. Put organic/non-toxic soap on the cloth if you feel that its necessary. If you want to cut down the frequency of having to clean your cupboards, line the shelves in your kitchen cabinets and replace them regularly.

When cleaning your microwave, it is advisable to spray water inside the microwave first. This will soften any dirt and food stains inside the oven and make it easier to remove using a damp microfiber cloth.
On the other hand, you may use the microfiber duster to remove dust from underneath the refrigerator, and the back of your stove, oven, or other kitchen equipment. The microfiber duster attracts dust particles and pollen, leaving your family safe from inhaling these harmful pollutants.

BEDROOMS AND FAMILY ROOMS:

To keep the floors of your family and bedrooms sparkling clean, simply wipe the floors with a microfiber mop every once a week. You can just wet the mop with water or you may use an organic/non-toxic cleaner. Doing this is enough to keep your floors looking new and dirt-free.

Meanwhile, you may use the microfiber Smart Duster to clean below the bed stands and underneath the bed. The electrostatic fur of the Smart Duster not only captures dust, dander, and other particles; it also allows you to clean hard to reach areas.
Drawers, shelves, and night stands should be cleaned regularly with a microfiber cloth (dampen cloth if needed). Other fixtures like heaters, lamps, and even the blinds, should be also dusted frequently as these objects also collect a lot of dust.
Air sheets as often as possible and vacuum your curtains every once a month or so. Wash linens and bed coves in hot water to kill dust mites.

MORE SUGGESTIONS:
The microfiber cloth you have used in your bathroom should not be used on other parts of the house, to prevent bacteria from spreading.

Regularly wash the microfiber cloths; you can clean them in the washer using the hot or warm cycle or immerse them in boiling water for 4 minutes.

Stains or watermarks are easier to clean when they are still fresh. However, you may also remove them using water with a bit of dish washing soap or citric acid. Citric acid is effective in removing rust, lime, and mould.

To remove chewing gum on fabric, simply put an ice bag on the area with the gum or if possible, place the entire clothing in the freezer. The chewing gum can be easily removed once it has frozen.
Use a white eraser to remove stains on the wall.

To remove candle wax on clothing, sandwich the fabric with a paper towel or brown paper (grocery bag) before ironing it. This will allow the paper towel to suck up the candle wax.

To clean gold and silver jewelry, soak them in a bowl of clean mild soap for approximately 1 hour. Afterwards, rinse them in warm water and pat them dry with a microfiber cloth. Meanwhile, pearls can be cleaned by wiping them with a dry or damp microfiber chamois cloth. This will prevent dirt from building up, and keep perspiration (which is acidic) from ruining the pearl nacre.

Last but not the least, make cleaning fun by putting on some music; sing or dance to the beat and before long, you will be surprised that you’re already finished.
