What is microfiber and why does it do better than cotton?
Polyester and polyamide are extremely fine threads which produce the high class microfiber towels we use nowadays. Described to be hundred times thinner than a solitary strand of human hair and ten times better than silk; microfibers are tremendously fine compared to that of a cotton thread. Polyester is a lyophillic polymer or has similarity to oil that allows oil to adhere directly to the fibers rapidly. On the other hand, water also without difficulty adheres to microfiber because it is hydrophilic. Microfiber works well in storing dirt and dust at the similar time, absorbs water extremely even up to seven times or 600% its weight in liquids, dirt and other essentials. Dirt particles grip, and are involved to the finely stuck shaped fibers of microfiber, where as cotton wipes only pushes dirt and dirt from one position or another. Such great description allow microfiber towels to rapidly remove filth and leave exteriors completely clean.
