Fine china and silverware daunt me. Usually, when I start cleaning my grandmother’s tea set, I’m armed with a toothbrush, silver polish and gritted teeth. That is, when they actually catch me long enough to get me to clean things. I can always tell when the cleaning bug appears in our house and use that knowledge to skedaddle.
